Course Overview

Modern telecom networks are rapidly transitioning from hardware-centric architectures to cloud-native, software-defined platforms. Telco Cloud, powered by Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and Software-Defined Networking (SDN), enables scalability, flexibility, automation, and cost efficiency, especially for 4G/5G core networks, private networks, and mission-critical services. This course provides a clear and practical understanding of Telco Cloud, NFV, and SDN concepts from architecture, operations, and policy perspectives. Participants will learn how telecom networks are virtualized, orchestrated, and controlled, and how these technologies support 5G, network slicing, edge computing, and cloud-native deployments.
