Course Overview

This 10-day intermediate course is designed for senior datacom engineers to master the core technologies required for modern enterprise and data center networks. It covers advanced routing (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP), switching (MSTP, Stacking, CSS), IPv6, and network reliability features, alongside emerging technologies like EVPN and SDN-based solutions.

Course Outcomes

  • Design and implement complex multi-area OSPF, IS-IS, and BGP routing architectures
  • Deploy highly reliable Layer 2 environments using MSTP, CSS, and Stacking technologies
  • Configure and troubleshoot IP Multicast solutions using PIM-SM and IGMP
  • Master IPv6 deployment including advanced NDP features and DHCPv6
  • Implement traffic engineering and security policies using MQC, PBR, and Firewalls
  • Deploy large-scale WLAN solutions with seamless roaming and high availability
  • Utilize BFD and VRRP to achieve sub-second network convergence
