Course Overview

The HCIP-5G-RAN V2.0 course is an intermediate-level program designed for engineers to master the principles, configuration, and maintenance of 5G Radio Access Networks. It covers 5G air interface technologies (NR), gNodeB hardware architecture (including LampSite), and advanced O&M using MML and MAE-Deployment. Trainees will gain the skills to perform data reconfiguration, signaling analysis, and complex troubleshooting for both SA and NSA networking modes.

Course Outcomes

  • Architect and deploy 5G gNodeB solutions in both SA and NSA networking modes
  • Execute expert-level air interface parameter configuration and physical layer performance analysis
  • Master the use of Huawei MAE and MML for batch gNodeB deployment and live network reconfiguration
  • Implement comprehensive indoor coverage solutions using LampSite products (BBU/RHUB/pRRU)
  • Diagnose and resolve complex 5G-specific faults related to signaling, synchronization, and transmission
  • Analyze 5G signaling flows to optimize initial access and mobility performance
  • Perform routine 5G base station maintenance including board replacement and alarm management
