Course Overview

The HCIA-LTE course is a foundational 10-day certification program designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of 4G LTE/SAE mobile networks. It covers the end-to-end architecture of E-UTRAN and EPC, air interface technologies like OFDM and MIMO, and the practical deployment of Huawei eNodeB equipment. Participants will gain hands-on experience in initial data configuration using MML and CME, remote commissioning via U2000/M2000, and expert field maintenance techniques for both indoor and outdoor site solutions.

Course Outcomes

  • Identify and describe the key components of LTE network architecture (EPC and E-UTRAN).
  • Explain the fundamental physical layer technologies including OFDMA, SC-FDMA, and MIMO.
  • Perform initial eNodeB configuration using both MML scripts and CME tools.
  • Execute remote and local commissioning of Huawei eNodeB equipment using U2000/M2000.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot common site faults such as cell unavailability and transmission errors.
  • Implement routine maintenance and hardware replacement procedures for eNodeB base stations.
  • Propose appropriate LTE site solutions for specific scenarios like high-speed railways or indoor coverage.
