Course Overview

The HCIA-Collaboration V4.0 course is a 5-day novice-level program designed to equip students with the skills to deploy and maintain modern video conferencing and smart collaboration solutions. The course focuses on Huawei’s cutting-edge ecosystem, including Box and Bar series endpoints, the IdeaHub smart board, and the underlying infrastructure like MCUs (Multipoint Control Units) and SMC (Service Management Center). You will master the fundamentals of SIP and H.323 protocols, learn to plan and configure video conferencing systems, and understand the lifecycle management of collaborative hardware and cloud-based recording services.

Course Outcomes

  • Explain the core differences and use cases for SIP and H.323 protocols.
  • Install, deploy, and maintain Huawei smart endpoints including Box, Bar, and IdeaHub series.
  • Configure and manage Multipoint Control Units (MCU) for multi-party conferencing.
  • Utilize the Service Management Center (SMC) for centralized node and conference orchestration.
  • Implement recording and streaming solutions using CloudRSE and RSE8800 hardware.
  • Perform data planning and system-wide configuration for enterprise-level video collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot common issues in video conferencing hardware and service flows.
