Course Overview

The HCIA-5G V2.0 is a 5-day professional course that explores the business and technical foundations of the fifth-generation mobile network. Unlike hardware-centric courses, this curriculum focuses on '5GtoB' (5G to Business) and the convergence of ICT technologies like AI, Big Data, and IoT. Students will master the 5G air interface, E2E network slicing, and multi-access edge computing (MEC) while examining real-world industry solutions for smart manufacturing, healthcare, and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV). It is designed to equip solution engineers with the ability to design 5G-enabled digital transformations across various vertical industries.

Course Outcomes

  • Explain the three major 5G service scenarios: eMBB, uRLLC, and mMTC.
  • Describe the key features of the 5G air interface including Massive MIMO and new coding technologies.
  • Differentiate between NSA and SA networking architectures and their deployment advantages.
  • Understand how 5G integrates with AI, IoT, and Big Data to enable industry digital transformation.
  • Design 5GtoB solutions that meet specific industry SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
  • Identify the architecture and benefits of IoV (Internet of Vehicles) and other vertical solutions.
  • Apply 5G network slicing and MEC concepts to solve business-specific connectivity challenges.
