5G Security Architecture & Threat Landscape
5 Days
Course Overview
5G introduces a service-based, cloud-native, and highly programmable architecture, enabling use cases such as network slicing, private networks, and massive IoT. While these capabilities bring flexibility and scale, they also expand the attack surface across RAN, Core, transport, and cloud layers. As 5G networks become part of national critical infrastructure, understanding their security architecture and threat landscape is essential for both operators and public sector authorities. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of 5G security, covering 3GPP-defined security frameworks, threat models, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies across 5G RAN, Core, slicing, interconnect, and cloud deployments. Participants will gain the ability to assess security posture, support compliance, and guide secure 5G deployment and operations.
